The high bills for small and medium-sized enterprises are increasingly unsustainable. The numbers speak for themselves: spending on electricity and natural gas grew in the first three months of 2022 and by around 40% compared to the last quarter of 2021.
A predictable outcome, a result of what was - or perhaps still is - the perfect storm that saw the energy crisis join and release.
Temakrom, thanks to the potential foresight and the skills of all departments that train, has been able to prevent this situation. By moving in advance and procuring the necessary raw materials before the associated costs increase, it is thanks to these two factors to limit the possible repercussions on their partners.
However, it is interesting for us to analyze the reasons for this bubble. Assuming that the increase in costs is of a global nature, we must unfortunately admit that Italy is once again one of the most affected nations. The accumulation of various "no" over the years has blocked possible interventions no when they have come in handy to deal with the situation we are experiencing: no to excavations, no to works, no to drills, gas or all solar energy and so on.
We have thus come to a picture in which it is too late to correct what has (not) been done and at the same time the state interventions, which seem not to arrive, risk destroying within a few months a significant percentage of companies, production, work and GDP.
In this turmoil Temakrom, first of all as a company and secondly as a player in its sector, is ready to make its voice heard. In fact, we expect an intervention to help ALL the economic activities for which the incidence of this energy increase has significantly impacted the income statement.
In the meantime, we continue our production in the Castenedolo (BS) plant, continuing to defend ourselves as possible from these fluctuations and to protect those who regularly rely on us.
