LEGO: the road to more sustainable plastic

LEGO has announced an ambitious plan: to reduce the use of plastic in its products by 50% by 2026. The goal is to make its iconic bricks even more sustainable, trying to replace traditional ABS with innovative materials, such as derived polymers from renewable sources.
This change will help reduce the company's carbon footprint, without compromising the quality, durability and safety of the toys, which have always been a LEGO trademark.

Furthermore, LEGO is working to make its packaging completely recyclable, gradually eliminating plastic and focusing on more eco-friendly alternatives. This commitment reflects a growing trend in the toy industry and other industries, where sustainability has become a priority for consumers and companies.

We at Temakrom, with our experience in the production of ABS, also recognize the importance of responding to environmental challenges. We are committed to developing solutions that offer high performance, without sacrificing the environment.
Our thermoplastic polymers are designed to meet the needs of resistance and flexibility, but with a careful eye on sustainability, thus contributing to a greener future for the sector.
